Dr. Timothy Kamp is an Implant and Reconstructive dentist based in Merrillville, Indiana, just outside Chicago. Prior to his career in dentistry, Dr. Kamp completed mechanical engineering and biology degrees from Purdue University, where he learned to understand and solve complex problems.
Dr. Timothy Kamp is an Implant and Reconstructive dentist based in Merrillville, Indiana, just outside Chicago. Prior to his career in dentistry, Dr. Kamp completed mechanical engineering and biology degrees from Purdue University, where he learned to understand and solve complex problems. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Midwestern University and then embarked on extensive additional training in dental implants. He currently is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Chicago Dental Society, and the ADA/IDA/NWIDA.
His focus on smile design and bringing together all the key parts of the digital design and fabrication process allows Great Lakes Implant Center to deliver beautiful smiles through its in-house lab. His engineering experience allows him to work effectively with the lab technicians enhancing the workflow with the face & CT scanners, 3D printers, CNC milling machines, ceramics ovens, digital jaw measurement devices, and much more. Dr. Kamp also trains other doctors and offers 1-on-1 mentoring on the digital implant process.
Dr. Kamp lives with his wife, 4 children, 3 cats, and a dog right here in Merrillville. In his free time, he is an avid woodworker with a sawmill and CNC operation, loves working on cars, cooking (wood-fired pizza & sourdough bread), and spending time outside building projects with the kids.
